This draft explains how information is handled through the current EduCaid public website. It covers visitors and people who submit the Request Demo or Contact forms. Institution use of the EduCaid platform requires separate operational and contractual privacy terms.

The website collects information that you choose to enter into its forms.

• Request Demo: institution and contact details, role, location, estimated student population, current LMS status, areas of interest, preferred date and optional notes.
• Contact: name, institution, email, optional phone number, enquiry type, subject and message.

The hosting environment may also process basic technical request information needed to deliver and protect the website. The production host’s exact logging configuration must be confirmed before this notice is finalised.

Information submitted through the website is used to receive and route enquiries, respond to messages, arrange requested demonstrations, understand an institution’s stated interests and protect forms from automated abuse.

Information should not be used for an unrelated purpose without an appropriate basis and an updated notice where required.

The Request Demo and Contact forms send validated submissions to EduCaid’s configured recipient through an email delivery service. The current forms use session-based request protection, a hidden anti-spam field and server-side validation.

Please do not include student records, passwords, financial details or other sensitive information in free-text fields.

The current form pages use a PHP session to support form security. This can create an essential session cookie in the visitor’s browser. The current codebase does not include analytics or advertising pixels.

The website loads font files through Google Fonts. When a browser requests those files, Google may receive technical request information such as an IP address and browser details.

Website operation currently depends on service providers involved in hosting, email delivery and font delivery. They may process information as necessary to provide those services under their own infrastructure and applicable arrangements.

No broader sharing statement should be published until the final provider list and operational workflows have been confirmed.

Website enquiries should be retained only for as long as they are needed to respond, manage the resulting relationship, maintain necessary records and meet applicable obligations.

The current website forms include server-side validation, session-based CSRF protection, submission timing checks and a honeypot field intended to reduce automated abuse. Email credentials are kept in server-side configuration rather than exposed in page markup.

No internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. The Data & Security page provides additional product context without replacing institution-specific security documentation.

Depending on the law that applies, individuals may have rights concerning access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability or complaints about the handling of personal information.

Use the Contact page to submit a privacy question or request. Identity and request details may need to be verified before action is taken.

The public Request Demo and Contact forms are intended for institution representatives and general business enquiries. They are not designed for submitting student records or children’s personal information.

Any processing of institution or student data within EduCaid services must be addressed through the relevant institution agreement, configured service and approved operational documentation.

Some website providers, including externally delivered fonts or email infrastructure, may process technical or submitted information outside Nigeria depending on the final deployment and provider configuration.

Material revisions should be posted on this page with an approved effective date. The notice should also be reviewed whenever website forms, providers, analytics, hosting arrangements or information-handling practices change.
