Publication review required

This is an implementation-aligned draft, not a substitute for final legal review. Unconfirmed matters are called out instead of being presented as settled facts.

01

Using this website

Acceptance of Terms

These draft terms are intended to govern access to and use of the public EduCaid website once they have been legally approved and published. By continuing to use the final published website, a visitor will be expected to follow those terms.

Legal approval requiredThe contracting entity, effective date and legally binding acceptance language must be confirmed before production reliance.
02

Permitted public access

Website Use

The website may be used to learn about EduCaid, explore publicly available information, request a demonstration and contact the team. Visitors must not use it unlawfully, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with its operation, introduce malicious code or abuse its forms.

03

Public information and scope

EduCaid Services

Website descriptions present a general overview and are not a complete service specification or a binding offer. The capabilities, configuration, implementation scope and commitments available to an institution must be confirmed during the sales process and recorded in the applicable agreement.

04

Platform access is separate

Accounts and Authorised Access

The public website does not currently provide user accounts. Access to an EduCaid platform environment is institution-specific and should be limited to authorised users under the relevant agreement, role configuration and institution policies.

05

Agreement-controlled processing

Institution Data and Content

Rights, responsibilities and permitted use concerning institution, staff, learner or other platform data must be set out in the institution’s agreement and supporting privacy documentation. These public website terms do not replace those documents.

Visitors should not submit confidential records or student data through public website forms.

06

Website and brand materials

Intellectual Property

EduCaid names, branding, interface materials and website content may be protected by intellectual-property rights belonging to EduCaid or the relevant licensors. Public access does not by itself grant permission to copy, republish, commercially exploit or create misleading derivative materials.

Ownership confirmation requiredFinal language should be reconciled with registered rights, licensed assets and approved brand-use permissions.
07

Protecting the service

Acceptable Use

Users must not attempt to bypass security, probe systems without written authorisation, access another person’s account, scrape restricted information, disrupt service, upload harmful material or use EduCaid services for unlawful or abusive activity.

Institution-specific acceptable-use obligations may be included in the applicable service agreement.

08

Human review remains important

AI-Assisted Features

Where an agreed EduCaid service includes AI-assisted functionality, outputs should be treated as assistance rather than a substitute for appropriate professional or institutional judgment. Authorised people remain responsible for reviewing relevant outputs and decisions.

Exact AI feature scope, data handling and institution controls must be documented for the service actually supplied.

09

External providers and links

Third-Party Services

The public website currently relies on external hosting, email delivery and font-delivery infrastructure. Links or integrations involving other services may also be subject to those providers’ terms and policies.

No platform integration should be represented as available unless it has been confirmed for the relevant implementation.

10

Institution agreement controls

Commercial Arrangements and Fees

Prices, payment terms, implementation scope, support, renewals and any ownership or licensing arrangement are established only through an approved proposal or institution-specific agreement. The public website does not publish fixed prices and does not override a signed agreement.

11

Operational expectations

Service Availability and Updates

Website content and service interfaces may evolve. Any uptime, maintenance, support, backup or service-level commitment for the EduCaid platform must be stated in the applicable institution agreement rather than inferred from this website.

12

Agreement-dependent controls

Suspension and Termination

Any right to suspend or terminate institution access, and the consequences for data access or transition, must be governed by the applicable agreement. Access to the public website may need to be restricted where necessary to address security threats, unlawful conduct or abuse.

Commercial and legal decision requiredTriggers, notice, cure periods and post-termination responsibilities must not be added until approved.
13

Language awaiting approval

Disclaimers

Appropriate disclaimers must reflect the actual services, applicable law, institution agreement and representations made elsewhere on the website.

Final clause requiredNo warranty exclusion or disclaimer has been invented for this draft. Qualified legal counsel should supply or approve this clause.
14

Language awaiting approval

Limitation of Liability

Any allocation or limitation of liability must be consistent with applicable law, insurance, risk allocation and institution-specific commercial terms.

Final clause requiredNo liability cap, excluded loss or remedy has been stated because those decisions are not documented in the project materials.
15

Jurisdiction awaiting approval

Governing Terms and Law

The governing law, forum and dispute process for public website use must be confirmed by the responsible legal entity. Institution-specific agreements may contain their own governing provisions.

Jurisdiction confirmation requiredThis draft deliberately does not infer a governing law from EduCaid’s market or website location.
16

Future revisions

Changes to These Terms

Approved revisions should be posted on this page with a clear effective date. Material changes should be communicated in the manner required by applicable law and any relevant institution agreement.
